The moon was Queen Lunar,
She was crowned by the sun
With a radiant aura,
Her Majesty stunned.

Stars were her subjects
In the sky oh so dark.
The blackness her fortress,
No U.F.O. larks.

Calmness being prince
On that sweet summer’s night
He soon proposed marriage
To Lunar’s delight.

Choosing not to rush
The lovers vowed and kissed
On that special event
Called the lunar eclipse.
